Yale Cancer Center shared a post on LinkedIn:
“With AACR25 coming to a close, the meeting also marked the end of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) presidential term for Patricia LoRusso, DO. As she ceremoniously passed the gavel to the new President, Lillian Siu, MD, Dr. LoRusso concluded a term that included advancements in cancer research, clinical trials, and treatments and an unwavering support of all patients with cancer.
In one of her final addresses as president, Dr. LoRusso provided an inspiring call to attendees to stand together and call on Congress to make cancer research a national priority, ‘It is critically important that we raise our voices in support of innovative cancer science and medicine.’
We could not be prouder to stand alongside you as a friend and as a colleague. Congratulations, Dr. LoRusso!”
