“Transformational change in cancer care happens when partnerships align to support shared goals. Partnerships took centre stage in Abuja as we launched the Leadership Programme for Women in Oncology (LPWO), a global initiative empowering women oncologists from nine C/Can cities to lead the future of cancer care.
We are proud to collaborate with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), whose expertise is shaping the training that will equip these women with the skills to lead systemic change in their cities.
This launch would not have been possible without the incredible support of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Nigeria, the Federal Capital Territory Administration, and National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment, who hosted a gala reception and thought-provoking policy dialogue that brought critical issues to the forefront.
