“AIM-HI is proud to co-host the 2024 NFCR Global Summit and Award Ceremonies for Cancer Research & Entrepreneurship with our partner organization, National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR), last Friday, October 18, 2024, at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
Highlights of the event include honoring Dr. Margaret Foti, CEO of American Association for Cancer Research, for the 2024 AIM-HI Beacon Award for Women’s Leadership in Oncology; recognizing the 2024 AIM-HI Women’s Venture Competition top winners: Nabanita Nawar, PhD of HDAX Therapeutics, First Prize with Distinction, Paraskevi (Evi) Giannakakou and CheukMan Cherie Au, Ph.D of ARMA BIO, Second Prize; and the Innovative Oncology Companies Showcase and Investor Perspective, moderated by Matt Tremblay, Ph.D., Chair of the AIM-HI Board and CEO of Blackbird Laboratories.
