Neal Meropol: Advocating for Cancer Policy Reform at ASCO Advocacy Summit

Neal Meropol, Vice President of Research Oncology at Flatiron Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“What a great day on Capitol Hill, meeting with legislators as part of the ASCO Advocacy Summit. We are advocating on behalf of cancer patients to ensure:

  • Support for federally funded cancer research
  • Legislation to change prior authorization
  • Action addressing drug shortages

Many thanks to the offices of Kirsten Gillibrand, Chuck Schumer, Dan Goldman, Adriano Espaillat, Jerry Nadler for taking time to meet with us. And to the members of our American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) New York delegation, I look forward to joining you again in the halls of congress.”
