Honoring Dr. Nathaniel Heiner: A Legacy of Compassion and Dedication
Damien Williams, Chief Executive Officer at Cancer Care Associates, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It is with a very heavy heart, on behalf of our Board and the entire team at Cancer Care Associates we share the devastating news of the sudden and unexpected passing of our highly respected and well-loved Head of Business Development, Dr Nathaniel Heiner.
Whilst Nathaniel was not with the CCA Group for long, he made an enormous and ever lasting impact on our team and the service we provide to our communities across NSW, QLD, and WA.
Nathaniel has a long and proud history across Oncology and Medicine including with us at Cancer Care Associates, prior years at GenesisCare, as well as working clinically across many hospitals in NSW and QLD as a respected clinician. His professional achievements are substantive and commendable however Nathaniel Heiner is far more special. Someone who always would give anyone the time of day, always genuinely showed interest in how you are or your challenges, the supportive manager providing expert guidance to his team, never had a bad word to say about anyone, and most of all, always there to help others.
His sudden and unexpected passing has left a wave of sadness and searching. On behalf of everyone at CCA our thoughts and love are with his partner Tracey, parents, siblings, and extended family and friends, at this very difficult time.
A truly genuine person who had life cut way too short and way too young. His commitment to our organisation will never be forgotten and we are humbled as a team, a colleague, and a friend, to have played a small part in his life.
REST IN PEACE LEGEND.”
