A. Munir Azizy: A Clinical Case of Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

A. Munir Azizy, Medical Oncology Fellow at Istanbul University Institute of Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A 59 year old Asian woman presented with shortness of breath and weight loss, finally being diagnosed with NSCLC (adenocarcinoma). Molecular testing revealed an EGFR mutation on exon 21. Following just 15 days of osimertinib treatment, a marked improvement in her symptoms was observed.

The chest X-ray taken at the beginning of treatment (04 March 2025) and today (19 MAR 2025), illustrating an exceptional response in this remarkably short treatment period.”
