Men’s Health Month 2025: Nikki Audia Raises Awareness on Cancer, Mental Health, and Heart Disease in Men
Nikki Audia, Cancer Awareness Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“MEN’S HEALTH MATTERS
We teach our boys to be strong.
To tough it out.
To walk it off.
To stay silent. But silence is costing lives.
June is Men’s Health Month – and it’s not just about check-ups.
It’s about breaking down generations of stigma.
It’s about teaching our fathers, brothers, sons, and partners that health is not weakness.
That prevention is power.
That speaking up is strength.– 1 in 2 men will develop cancer in their lifetime.
– 1 in 4 men die of heart disease.
– Mental health? Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in men under 45.Men, you are not invincible. You are not replaceable. You are needed.
Let’s start asking the hard questions:
– When was your last physical?
– Are you ignoring the pain that won’t go away?
– Have you talked to someone about your stress or sadness? If you love a man – tell him to go to the doctor.
If you are a man – this is your reminder to check in with yourself.
Your family, your friends, your future depends on it.Let’s change the conversation. Let’s change the stats.
Tag a man you love. Share this post.
Let’s save lives this June.”
