Lung Cancer Awareness Day 2025: What Organizations Shared on August 1st

On August 1st, the global medical and advocacy community came together online to observe Lung Cancer Awareness Day 2025, using social platforms like LinkedIn and X to spotlight research progress, patient stories, and the urgent need for continued support and funding.

Across both platforms, leading cancer centers, biotech firms, non-profits, and research consortia used the day to raise awareness about the realities of lung cancer, one of the world’s deadliest cancers, and to reaffirm their commitment to changing outcomes.

Our team at OncoDaily has curated key highlights from how the oncology community marked Lung Cancer Awareness Day 2025 across LinkedIn and X. Scroll down to see how leading institutions and advocates used their platforms to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and highlight the human side of lung cancer.
