Lisa A. Lacasse: Cancer screening and early detection saves lives
Lisa A. Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Cancer screening and early detection saves lives. Access to those screenings is critical to find cancer early, when it is most treatable. This article on the uncertainty around CDC grant funding used for breast and cervical cancer screening is disheartening. The delays are going to impact so many people across the country. Congress must act now. Lives depend on it.”
