Julia Kiselka: I had the incredible opportunity to defend my Master’s thesis
Julia Kiselka, Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University, posted on LinkedIn:
“Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to defend my Master’s thesis: “Impact of Vimentin and Cytokeratin 14 Interaction in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.”
I’m deeply grateful to my PI and committee member, Dr. Sendurai Mani, as well as the rest of my thesis committee — Dr. Petra den Hollander and Dr. Patrycja Dubielecka — for their thoughtful feedback and support throughout this process.
A special thank you to Dr. Nick Kuburich, whose mentorship and guidance over the past two years have been invaluable to this project and to my growth as a scientist. His impact on my training has been foundational, and I’m incredibly thankful for his support.
And of course, thank you to the Mani Lab for being such a collaborative and supportive team — your expertise and encouragement helped bring this project to life.
This work challenged and inspired me in so many ways, and I’m excited to carry what I’ve learned into the next chapter of my journey.”
