Julia Han Noll: Feeling incredibly grateful after giving my first big talk at Cellicon Valley this week
Julia Han Noll, Graduate Student at University of Pennsylvania, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Feeling incredibly grateful after giving my first big talk at Cellicon Valley this week.
I want to sincerely thank Kristen Hege, Bruce Levine and Carl June for establishing the Muriel Joan Drew Hege Fund and for their commitment to supporting early-career women scientists.
It’s thanks to mentors like them — and to my thesis advisor, Joseph Fraietta — that I’ve been able to grow as a scientist and share my work with the broader community.
Through Kristen, I’ve not only found incredible mentorship but also a community of brilliant, supportive peers — such as Nour Shobaki, Estela Noguera-Ortega, Carly Harro, Laura Garcia-Gerique, Sofía Castelli, Amanda Finck, Janna Minehart, Sisi Chen, M. Angela Aznar and many more — who continue to inspire me.
A milestone moment I won’t forget.”
