Jennifer Douglas: Delegation Gets Easier When The Foundation Is Already There
Jennifer Douglas, Writer and DCIS Breast Cancer Patient Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“When I was newly diagnosed with DCIS, one of the first things I realized was that I couldn’t do it all.
Not emotionally, not physically, and certainly not logistically. In those early days, I leaned heavily on a simple system I had already started: writing things down.
From our household routines to daily school schedules—those typed-up lists and printed charts became lifelines.
They gave my family a way to help, and they gave me the peace of mind that I didn’t have to explain everything from scratch.
Delegation gets easier when the foundation is already there.
Have you created systems in your home that others can step into when needed?
Let’s talk about what’s worked for you.”
