“One of the most transformational moments in my life was to realize that learning advocacy/ policy is NOT a choice, to practice oncology/medicine.
We have one of the most honorable professions in the world, and it is our obligation that we be engaged with decision making that impacts the way we practice medicine and our patients lives.
We are not trained in advocacy/ policy, but we can always learn.
