“Inspiring Connections at ASCO 2025: Honored to Meet African Oncology Leaders!
One of the most meaningful moments of ASCO2025 was meeting Prof. Miriam Mutebi, President of AORTIC- Africa (African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer), along with so many brilliant African oncologists pushing boundaries in cancer care across the continent.
Our conversations about strengthening cancer research, improving access to care, and building collaborative networks left me energized and hopeful. The work being done by AORTIC- Africa and African colleagues to transform oncology outcomes—despite resource challenges—is nothing short of remarkable.
