We are proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with the IAEA – City Cancer Challenge
City Cancer Challenge shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) under the framework of the IAEA’s Rays of Hope initiative. This collaboration reflects our shared vision: ensuring equitable access to quality radiation medicine for cancer control in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Over the next three years, we will work in addressing the urgent need for early diagnosis and effective treatment, regardless of geographical location.
Why this matters
- Millions of people in LMICs face barriers to life-saving radiation medicine.
- Combining IAEA’s six decades of experience with C/Can’s proven approach to capacity development ensures impactful, sustainable solutions.
- With Rays of Hope, we’re supporting Countries and cities in building safe, effective, and high-quality radiation medicine capabilities, from radiotherapy to nuclear medicine.
This partnership underscores our collective commitment to transforming cancer care globally. By combining resources, expertise, and networks, we are driving meaningful change to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
