The human papillomavirus is responsible for at least six forms of cancer – European Cancer Organisation
European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Everyone can be infected by the human papillomavirus (HPV) at some point in life. This one virus is responsible for at least six forms of cancer.
Every year on 4 March we recognise HPV Awareness Day, an occasion to better educate ourselves and others about this deadly virus.
Vaccination and regular screenings are the most effective ways to prevent HPV. Join the conversation and help spread the word!
