Habib Nehmé: Truth lives where value is created — among customers and employees
Habib Nehmé, CCO of Elekta, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Truth lives where value is created — among customers and employees. Therefore, authentic understanding begins at the front lines, with those who engage and experience firsthand. Honored and inspired, I recently had the privilege of meeting our incredible Elekta teams in Thailand and South Korea—teams that are energized, experienced, and truly rejuvenated in their mission. Their commitment to delighting customers and delivering innovative Elekta solutions in radiotherapy and neuro-radiosurgery is nothing short of inspiring.
At the high-tech hub of Yonsei University, where Heavy Ion Proton therapy is co-located with multiple Elekta radiation therapy systems, and at hashtag#GangnamSeverance Hospital, where Professor Jun Won Kim and his team utilize the Elekta Unity MR-Linac to treat liver, pancreatic, lung, and other solid tumors with high daily throughput—I witnessed an unwavering passion for advancing cancer care through cutting-edge technology.
At Seoul National University, Professor Sunha Paik proudly presented Korea’s first Elekta Esprit, recently installed alongside their second Gamma Knife Icon. Their vision to expand neurofunctional treatments, alongside managing an increasing number of cerebral metastases, reflects the evolving potential of precision radiosurgery.
In Thailand, at Vibhavadi Medical Center, I was welcomed by Chairman Nikom Wairatpanij and CEO Phijit Wiriyamettakul, who are leading the installation of a new Elekta Gamma Knife—a significant milestone for advancing neuro-radiosurgery in the region.
I am proud of our partnerships with visionary clinicians and institutions, and equally proud of our dedicated Elekta employees, who continue to deliver meaningful solutions in the fight against cancer.”
