Fumiko Ladd Chino, Attending Radiation Oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
“Honoring international women’s day with “Reach for the Stars” with MD Anderson Cancer Center keynote speaker Dr Julianne Polard-Larkin on Rice University, Rice Engineering and Computing Campus. We have a radonc activity for the middle school girls and I so excited to hear Dr Pollard-Larkin speak!”
Fumiko Ladd Chino added a comment:
“Super fun morning discussing radiation oncology and Medical Physics with kids at Rice University. This STEM festival has been focused on middle school girls since 2006. This year is unique in that it had no federal funds. Appreciate everyone who stepped up to support the next gen of Women in STEM.”
