Shrenik Shah: ‘Fridays with Shrenik’ – 27 episodes of raw, real, and radically human insights
Shrenik Shah, Patient Ambassador and Moderator of Fridays with Shrenik Live webinar at Indian Cancer Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It’s not an April Fool’s prank – just a guy without vocal cords hosting 27 cancer webinars.
27 episodes – each one a tribute to a year since 1997. One unwavering voice – without vocal cords. And a growing wall of stories built on strength, science, and survival.
When I began Fridays with Shrenik, I didn’t know where it would lead. All I knew was – I had questions. And I wanted to bring answers to others like me.
Last June, I was honoured by the Indian Cancer Society – Delhi branch as a Patient Ambassador under the Head and Neck Cancer category.
That honour came with a purpose, to moderate a weekly live webinar featuring India’s top oncologists and courageous survivors.
Every Friday at 6 PM IST. On Zoom and YouTube. No script. No teleprompter. Just heartfelt conversations – led by a survivor who had lost his natural voice 27 years ago.
That’s me.
To date, Fridays with Shrenik has hosted:
– 20 of India’s top Surgical, Medical, Radiation, and Clinical Oncologists
– 7 incredible survivors who turned their pain into purpose
– 27 episodes of raw, real, and radically human insights
– An audience of up to 350 attendees per session
We’ve covered it all – Head and Neck, Breast, Blood, Bone, Gynec, and Lung Cancers.
Each episode ran for 50 – 70 minutes, filled with life-saving knowledge, hope, and a sense of solidarity.
A huge thank you to the warriors who stood with me:
Survivors: Sangeeta Malhotra, Satinder Kaur, Anubha Mittal, Soumya Rajesh, Jatin Goyal, Nishant Doshi
ICS Delhi team: Vaishali Aggarwal, Priya Tiwari, Ritika Rajput
Leadership: Jyotsana Govil, Col. Ajai Tomar Mrs., RENUKA PRASAD, Dr. Priya Parmar
Back office stars: Bhagwandas, Anuj, and many others
And to the doctors who so generously gave their time – you didn’t just share facts; you gave people faith.
We built this wall, one story at a time.
And we’re not stopping now.
Because cancer doesn’t wait.
And neither will we.
The show must go on.
P.S. – The Almighty and countless well-wishers from all over the world abundantly bless me to transform the balance sheet of life into a profit.
Deeply grateful to everyone.”
