Vicki Durston: Fortunate to have Fiona Menzies join our team at Breast Cancer Network Australia

Vicki Durston, Director of  Policy, Advocacy and Support Services at the Breast Cancer Network Australia, shared a post by Fiona Menzies, Interim Director of Fundraising at Breast Cancer Network Australia, on LinkedIn, adding:

“Fiona Menzies we are so fortunate to have you join our team albeit in an interim capacity as Director of Fundraising – welcome aboard and thankyou for supporting our work as we work to amplify the voice for change and support all those affected and impacted by breast cancer as we continue to seek support to continue our work.”

Quoting Fiona Menzies’s post:

“Today is my first day as Interim Director of Fundraising at Breast Cancer Network Australia. And while you might think it’s a change from the arts, there are a remarkable number of similarities…

I’m working with a talented and passionate team, it’s an organisation that punches well above its weight in terms of achievements and impact, and it is a world leader in health consumer driven policy.

Since I have begun telling people I’ve taken on this interim role, I have been overwhelmed by positive comments about this organisation and the support it has provided them or women (and men) in their lives with breast cancer.

So if you are a business or individual who would like to support this essential work, please get in touch, we would love to partner with you to help ensure Australians with breast cancer get the best possible information and support.”

Vicki Durston is the Director of  Policy, Advocacy and Support Services at the Breast Cancer Network Australia. Additionally, she is also the President of the General Assembly and a Board Member at ABC Global Alliance. She earned her Master of Education degree in Leadership, Policy and Change from Monash University.
