“World Cholangiocarcinoma Day 2025
Today, we stand united to raise awareness of cholangiocarcinoma, a rare but aggressive form of liver cancer. For too long, this silent killer has remained in the shadows, with limited research funding and delayed diagnoses costing lives.
Marko Korenjak, ELPA President, calls for urgent action:
‘Early detection and access to innovative treatments can change the future for cholangiocarcinoma patients. We urge policymakers, medical experts, and the public to work together in ensuring equitable healthcare solutions.’
