The Strong Base of the EU Project MONALISA – SIOPE
SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) shared on LinkedIn:
“Collaboration – the strong base of the EU Project MONALISA!
MONALISA is dedicated to improving the quality of life of childhood cancer patients through a more accurate tumour detection process. This is achieved through an approachable and less invasive monitoring system – liquid biopsies!
This can be achieved through the cross collaboration between various stakeholders with objectives such as:
Ensure a reliable assessment of early molecular progression or relapse and establish a pragmatic randomized clinical trial through the support of paediatric oncologists, molecular researchers and data scientists
Developing a digital decision support tool focused to helping oncologists to use the new monitoring technique
Monitoring patients with relapsed neuroblastoma and assessing outcomes on the quality of life of patients based on submitted assessments through the involvement of patients, families and patient advocacy groups
Stay tuned for more insights into Lisa’s story!”
