ECO – Registration is Open for Beyond the Glow: The Harmful Effects of Sunbeds on Public Health Conference

“Skin cancers – including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma – are strongly linked to the use of sunbeds, especially when used at younger ages.
UV radiation is classified as carcinogenic to humans, yet there are still no EU rules regulating sunbed use.
ECO will join an important discussion hosted by the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and Romana Jerkovic MEP on the urgent need to curtail sunbed use to reduce skin cancers.
