Dégí László Csaba: European Cancer Organisation supports cancer care in Ukraine
Dégí László Csaba posted the following on LinkedIn:
“European Cancer Organisation is playing an active role helping Ukrainian institutions and stakeholders involved in cancer care gain access to much-needed EU funding and INTERACT-EUROPE 100 is a clear example of that, with two Ukrainian partners participating. As some of you may know, ECO and our American colleagues at ASCO have established a Special Network on the Impact of the War in Ukraine on Cancer, identifying and sharing information, programmes, materials, and resources to help maintain vital cancer care for Ukrainians.
Our objective throughout is to make a real difference for Ukrainian cancer patients. As Ukraine continues to bravely resist Russian aggression, I hope you never forget… the European Cancer Organisation stands with you.”
