How Can We Save 2.5 Million Lives by 2040? – City Cancer Challenge
City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“How can we save 2.5 million lives by 2040? By making quality breast cancer care accessible, timely and rooted in real-world systems.
Through a bold partnership with the World Health Organization, C/Can is putting the Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) into practice across four cities: Tbilisi, Kumasi, Cali and Phnom Penh.
From building locally owned Breast Cancer Action Plans to aligning services with global standards, this work reframes breast cancer care as a public-value investment that benefits women, families, and entire communities.
Find out how this new model of collaboration is bridging the gap between global vision and local implementation.
Thanks to the convening role of the IFPMA, and to Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb and MSD who provided essential funding through which C/Can can operate the GBCI partnership.”
