“This World Health Day, I’m proud to contribute to a new piece with UICC on transforming cancer care by putting people at the center.
Health systems shouldn’t just treat disease—they must care for the whole person. At Global Focus on Cancer, we’re advocating for integrated, compassionate care that addresses the real-life barriers people face.
Thanks to UICC for spotlight lighting us and the Sri Lanka Cancer Society and the power of national cancer control plans to build more equitable systems.
