Carolyn Taylor: Shaping the WHO Advocacy Messages for People Living with NCDs, Mental Health and Neurological Conditions
Carolyn Taylor, Founder and Executive Director of Global Focus on Cancer, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As a Steering Committee Member, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help shape the WHO Advocacy Messages for Meaningful Engagement of People Living with Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Mental Health, and Neurological Conditions.
Developed with input from over 450 advocates across 85 countries, this resource is now available to drive more inclusive and impactful global health advocacy.
At a time when health inequities are more visible than ever, these messages reinforce the urgency of inclusion, equity, and collaboration. Meaningful engagement ensures that people with lived experience are not just heard but play a central role in shaping the policies, programs, and health systems that directly impact their lives.”
