Carmen Monge-Montero: June is Cancer Survivor Month, and It’s Also Can-Can’s Birthday
Carmen Monge-Montero, Researcher and Patient Advocate at Youth Cancer Europe and Founder of Monge Consultancy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“June is Cancer Survivor Month… and it’s also Can-Can’s birthday!
To celebrate, I donated some copies of Can-Can and the Adventure on Mìng Island to Costa Rica’s National Children’s Hospital and the Association for the Fight Against Childhood Cancer, and I’d love to keep sharing Can-Can’s story with children around the world.
This is a gift with a purpose. I have a limited number of free copies (in English and Spanish) and I’ll gladly send one to those who do one meaningful thing:
Tell me where you’d donate it so it can reach children who need it.
That’s it. One simple act, to help us spread Can-Can’s message, breaking the stigma, giving kindness, and hope to children facing or learning about cancer.
