“Three days flew by at the NCD Alliance Conference! What a powerful, energizing experience and an incredible opportunity to connect with old friends and meet new faces in the NCD ecosystem with Eghosasere Ramnaps.
Here are a few highlights:
– Reconnecting with our NCDconnect partners Giulia Segafredo, Sarbani Chakraborty, PATH, Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), Coalition for Access to NCD Medicines and Products and many more + meeting new connections across the ecosystem.
– Participating in a panel discussion on innovative financing. We delved into the toolbox for strengthening health systems, patient-centered programs, supply chain efficiencies with NCDconnect to enable reliable access to quality-assured medicines at a fair price. Huge thanks to IFPMA, MedAccess, and Novo Nordisk for the organisation!
– Listening to the inspiring voices of youth advocates and people with lived experiences. It’s always a pleasure to see Edith Mukantwari at these events!
– Experiencing the beauty of Rwanda once again! Five years have passed since my last visit, and so much has changed. I’m grateful for the chance to reconnect with old friends and colleagues. Thank you to NCD Alliance and Rwanda Biomedical Centre for hosting such an impactful event!
