Anju Aledia: Cycle for Gold Volunteer Participation and Cancer Survivors’ Performance
Anju Aledia, Teacher at CanKids KidsCan, shared on LinkedIn:
“Cycle for Gold Volunteer Participation and Cancer Survivors’ Performance – A Celebration of Hope and Resilience
On April 27, 2025, the campus of MBDAV School, Yusuf Sarai, came alive with vibrant energy, compassion, and inspiration as it hosted the Cycle for Gold event, organized by CanKids KidsCan, a dedicated organization supporting children battling cancer across India.
The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of volunteers and cyclists, many of whom had committed to raising awareness and funds through their participation in the ongoing “Cycle for Gold” initiative. With determination and solidarity, these cyclists symbolized the collective drive to support the holistic care and treatment of young cancer warriors.
Adding heart to the event were the brave cancer survivor children, who took center stage with moving performances, dance routines, and skits that celebrated courage, hope, and the joy of life. Their stories of resilience touched every soul in the audience and reminded everyone of the importance of community support in the fight against childhood cancer.
The event was not just a fundraiser but a heartfelt celebration — uniting students, teachers, parents, cyclists, and volunteers in a shared mission of making a difference. The performances, combined with motivational speeches and a spirit of giving, made the day both emotionally powerful and deeply meaningful.
MBDAV School was proud to serve as the venue for this impactful initiative, continuing its legacy of nurturing social awareness and compassion among students and the larger community.”
