“Celebrating Dr. Aneth David – A Trailblazer in Science and Policy!
We are thrilled to celebrate Dr. Aneth David from Tanzania, a proud graduate of the Policy Advocacy in Genetics and Genomics course, organized by the Pan-African PGS Education and Research Initiative (PAPERI)!
Aneth’s passion and dedication to bridging science and policy are not only inspiring but transformative for sustainable agriculture in Africa. As a biotechnology researcher and lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), her journey is marked by a deep commitment to addressing the real-world challenges of food security and innovation.
Currently serving as a BioInnovate Africa Fellow for Women Scientists, hosted at the East African Science and Technology Commission (EASTECO) in Kigali, Rwanda, and mentored by Muyambi Fortunate, Dr. Aneth is leading work to strengthen policy and regulatory frameworks for biofertilizers – critical to promoting local innovation, reducing import dependency, and ensuring sustainable farming systems.
