Ane Appelt, Associate Professor in Radiotherapy Physics at the University of Leeds, shared a post on X:

“I’m so delighted to finally see the STAR-TREC data reported. Short course RT vs chemorad for organ preservation in early stage rectal cancer. 61% vs 80% TME-free survival at 12 months. More organ preservation with long-course chemorad.”
