Ali Alsaati: I’m proud to lead Dubai Health’s latest colorectal cancer screening and awareness campaign

“As a family physician at Dubai Health I’m proud to lead our latest colorectal cancer screening and awareness campaign along with our esteemed colleagues Amr Nasr and Dr. Wissam Mohamed. Colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer in the UAE, yet early detection through screening can lead to a 90% survival rate.
Despite this, studies show that only 9% of eligible individuals in Dubai have undergone screening. Our initiative aims to change this by offering accessible screening options and educating our community on the importance of early detection. Together, we can increase awareness and encourage proactive health measures to combat this preventable disease.”
