Alain Labrique: Launching the Global Digital Collaboration Conference 2025 – Advancing Digital Public Infrastructure for Health
Alain Labrique, Director of Department of Digital Health and Innovation at World Health Organization, posted on LinkedIn:
“Today launches the first day of the Global Digital Collaboration Conference 2025 – discussions around advancing the foundations of Digital Public Infrastructure to unlock voluntary, person-centered, safe and reliable – but most importantly verifiable – digital wallets. UN agencies, governments, private sector, developers, and civil society – all gathered to discuss the policy, interoperability and cybersecurity standards, and implementation pathways to achieve these goals. Major strides are already being made in some regions, with rapid gains in others.
World Health Organization will be leading the Health vertical of this initiative, building on the Global Digital Health Certification network’s experience in providing the global public key infrastructure to over 80 member-states, effectively covering ~2 billion people on the planet.
Congratulations to Daniel Goldscheider, Rolf Rauschenbach and friends for pulling together this amazing gathering of thought leaders, engineers, policymakers to move this important agenda forward.”
