“Please join us in congratulating the 2024 AIM-HI Women’s Venture Competition Award Winners: Nabanita Nawar CEO, HDAX Therapeutics, and Paraskevi Giannakakou CSO, ARMA Bio.”

Nabanita Nawar, PhD, is the Co-Founder and CEO of HDAX Therapeutics. She is also a Lecturer at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, where she teaches in the Health Science Professional Master’s program (Collaboration and Commercialization in Physiology) and Organic and Medicinal Chemistry for second-year undergraduate students.

Paraskevi Giannakakou, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of ARMA Bio and a Professor of Pharmacology in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Her research focuses on cancer biology, cytoskeletal dynamics, and mechanisms of drug resistance to targeted therapies and chemotherapy.
