“This is what empowered cancer survivors look like.
When you hear the words ‘cancer survivor’ in Nigeria and many of the LMiCs, you expect to see someone looking worn, disillusioned and battered by the disease.
But this is changing thanks to awareness, education and the brave survivors who come out to share their stories.
Our conference provided an amazing platform to create new patient advocates and leaders and inspire a new generation of champions.
Still buzzing and grateful for our formidable champions and patient advocates who keep hope alive and make all we do worthwhile.”
