Benjamin Toll: Thrilled to serve as Chair for the 2024 ASCO Quality Care Symposium

Benjamin Toll, Professor at Medical University of South Carolina, shared on X:

From ASCO

Dear Colleague, I am thrilled to serve as Chair for the 2024 ASCO Quality Care Symposium and share why you cannot miss this opportunity to join a diverse community of individuals dedicated to advocating for quality, accessibility, and safety of cancer care delivery.

This is the meeting that brings together interdisciplinary experts and pioneers in quality improvement to discuss the latest research in quality care, implementation science, and health services.

The intimate and focused setting presents a unique opportunity for you to connect with peers who face similar challenges in their clinics so you can explore solutions and share best practices that will enhance collaborations across the entire clinical care team.

The meeting provides ample informal opportunities for you to make lasting professional connections, and we also have planned events for specific audiences, such as the Trainee & Early-Career Networking Luncheon and Women’s Networking Reception.

Register Now.

Hotel Reservation and Early Registration Deadline: August 21 at 11:59 PM (ET) The Program Committee has worked very hard to plan concise, solution-oriented sessions that will provide you with practical takeaways to help reshape your care delivery strategies.

I am particularly looking forward to the Opening Session on Friday, Patient Navigation in Cancer Care: Moving from Theory to Practice, and the Saturday session, Leveraging Technology to Support Patient-Centered Multidisciplinary Oncologic Care.

I encourage you to review the program to discover the scientific and educational sessions that align most with your interests. It has been an incredible experience to watch our field expand over the years, and with that, see increased abstract submissions to, and attendance at, the ASCO Quality Care Symposium.

This speaks to the welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment the meeting fosters, as well as our community’s unwavering commitment to improving patient care across the entire cancer continuum.

I’m looking forward bringing our vibrant community of dedicated quality care professionals back together—in San Francisco and online—September 27-28, and I hope to see you there.

Best regards, Raymond Osarogiagbon, FACP, MBBS, FASCO Chair, 2024 ASCO Quality Care Symposium Program Committee Baptist Cancer Center, Memphis, TN.
