“June is Cancer Survivors Month!

Let’s talk about Survivorship in paediatric oncology. Did you know that today, we estimate there are 500,000 survivors of childhood cancer? While the numbers are growing each year, and 5-year survival rates are now up to 80%, the quality of survivorship has become paramount.

2/3 of survivors face long-term side effects, needing lifelong care and support. Let’s ensure they get the Medical Support and Psychosocial Care they deserve.
