Nicholas L. Berlin: University of Michigan Microsurgery Fellowship Graduation 2024
Nicholas L. Berlin, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Michigan Medicine, shared a post on X:
“University of Michigan Microsurgery Fellowship Graduation 2024 Beyond grateful for this year to hone my microsurgical skills and broaden my understanding of complex reconstruction with these renowned faculty.
It was a year full of growth – professionally and personally. I am so proud of the surgeon that I have become, which is a result of the community of educators and training opportunities at Michigan, as well as the unwavering support from my family and friends. After nearly a decade of training at the University of Michigan, we are moving to Boston.
I will be joining faculty in the Harvard Plastic Surgery program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Starting in September, I will see patients for reconstructive microsurgery, breast reconstruction, gender affirming surgery, and other reconstructive and aesthetic needs.
This is a dream job for me that wouldn’t be possible without the support of countless individuals. I am both thrilled and humbled by this opportunity to join this stellar team of surgeons, trainees, and staff at one of the most historic and important hospitals in the world. Onward and upward.”
