“One of the highlights of our participation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting was the opportunity to reconnect and strengthen ties with some of our long-standing partners in our quest to improve access to quality cancer care in Nigeria.
During this global gathering of oncology experts, our Centre Director, Dr. Lilian Ekpo, and the Managing Director of Medserve – NSIA Advanced Medical Services Limited, Dr. Tolulope Adewole, met with Jennifer Dent, President of BIO Ventures for Global Health, and Julia Franz, Associate Director. The discussions with the BVGH team were particularly fruitful, focusing on enhancing our collaboration in specialized training programs. These initiatives aim to enrich the oncology talent pool in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), a testament to our commitment to global health advancement.”
