Professor Mark Lawler is Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor of Digital Health, and Chair in Translational Cancer Genomics at Queen’s University Belfast.
He serves as Associate Director of Health Data Research Wales-Northern Ireland and Scientific Director for DATA-CAN, focusing on innovative precision medicine and population health approaches.
Lawler has also led significant initiatives in cancer data sharing and patient empowerment, including the European Cancer Patient’s Bill of Rights and the Lancet Oncology Groundshot Commission for cancer research in Europe.
