Melody Schiaffino: I want to jump in on sharing some of my highlights from ASCO24

Melody Schiaffino, Associate Professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine,  shared on X:

“There are a lot of things I’ve come to appreciate about the incredibly well-organized ASCO annual meeting, and I am not great at selfie but I want to jump in on sharing some of my highlights!

First of course is the chance to see and share exceptional science and cheer on the accomplishments of brilliant colleagues (not enough photos here) – special shoutout to Rob Winn on his recognition for the transformative work!

Then there is more science! Some posters that stood up for me – lung was king this year – fight me!

But as always, the delivery of care will always be key for me.

Finally there is probably the best part, connecting with colleagues nearby and across the miles! THANK YOU ASCO
(I realize that I didn’t take enough photos so know I am grateful for all of you and promise to step up the selfie game!).”
