Sumanta Pal: Introducing Wesley Yip, who joined our GU oncology team at City of Hope less than 1 year ago
Sumanta Pal shared a post on X:
”Introducing Wesley Yip, who joined our GU oncology team at City of Hope less than 1 year ago after finishing a urology residency at USC Urology and Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
He’s been a machine – maintaining a busy clinic/OR schedule, mentoring fellows and writing grants/papers day and night. His ASCO CDA (below; announced today ahead of ASCO24) is a result of this intensive effort. Proud to be his mentor on this project, exploring microbiome manipulation as an adjunct to adjuvant treatment for kidney cancer.
Many thanks to Laura Esfeller as well, an amazing advocate who offered us both tremendous insights on the project.”
