Akua Sarpong: If we are to make a dent in the WHO Global Initiative on Childhood Cancer, then this is the way to Go.
Akua Sarpong, Management Executive at Lifeline For Childhood Cancer, Ghana, recently posted on LinkedIn:
“Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana is embarking on the construction of a 40-bed childhood cancer Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. This is to augment the current 25-bed ward for pediatric oncology. Proud moment for us. Sensibly nervous but excited too. This will change the face of childhood cancer treatment in Ghana. If we are to make a dent in the WHO Global Initiative on Childhood Cancer, then this is the way to Go. We are inviting corporate organizations, and groups to join hands with us to make a difference in the lives of our children battling cancer.”
