Robert M Wenham: New GynOnc Fellowship to focus on women’s cancer

Robert M Wenham, Chair of Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“NEW GYNONC FELLOWSHIP. We’ve been main clinical site for shared program, so why have our own?? We created ours to focus on women’s cancer. With 8 and growing cancer center faculty, we wanted to focus on training fellows in radical cancer surgery and cancer therapeutics, and not the increasing benign cases at many non-NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center hospital training programs. We are excited (not surprised) by high number of applicants despite late to match this year.”
