Quoting Selwyn Vickers, the President and CEO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, on LinkedIn:
“An innovative, first-of-its-kind PhD program was just announced at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK)’s Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
The Ian and Pat Cook Doctoral Program in Cancer Engineering will give aspiring researchers the opportunity to study with MSK’s world-renowned faculty and train students to develop new technologies and use engineering techniques to solve fundamental problems in biology and to better understand, diagnose, and treat cancer.
Along with Dean Michael Overholtzer and the rest of the faculty, I look forward to welcoming the first class of students into this new program.”
