Lauren Ghazal is a family nurse practitioner and nurse scientist. She is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing and Associate Member in Cancer Prevention and Control at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Ghazal completed an NCI-funded T32 post-doctoral research fellowship in Cancer Care Delivery at the University of Michigan. And she earned her PhD (as Class Valedictorian) at New York University, where her dissertation focused on work-related challenges and financial toxicity in adolescents and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors.
