Laura Vater: Clinic days can be draining because of….
Laura Vater, GI oncologist at IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
“I’ve come to realize that clinic days can be draining because of:
1) volume/general busyness,
2) intellectually complex with many decisions,
3) emotionally devastating.
And if you’re facing all three, expect to be particularly exhausted. Give yourself space to process and recover.”
