“I’m always inclined to think that NET = NeuroEndocrine Tumor but I have to admit that another worthy acronym is Neutrophil Extracellular Trap In med school (and even heme fellowship) I learned that clots first organize around fibrin but some of the scaffold is neutrophil DNA! ”
