Roupen Odabashian: One of the scariest aspects for me in the Oncology clinic is patients’ dates of birth
Roupen Odabashian shared a post on LinkedIn:
”One of the scariest aspects for me in the Oncology clinic is looking at patients’ dates of birth.
I see patients who were born in 1992, the same year as me, as well as some who are younger, and others older.
There are patients born in the same year as my parents and loved ones.
This serves as a reminder of how vulnerable life can be.
No one can predict what each day may bring or when disease may strike.
Although I try to be mindful, I know I am far from achieving it fully. However, I am deeply grateful for the blessings I have, especially the health of my family.
Never underestimate the value of being able to wake up and walk out the door without worrying about cancer or other diseases. This, in itself, is a wealth.”
